This page explains what data D Puzzle Game handles and why. It covers this website and the Telegram bot @DypherBot.
Who runs D Puzzle Game
D Puzzle Game is a free, non-commercial side project run by an independent developer. For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].
This website
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers. Every file, including fonts, is served from this domain. The hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
The Telegram bot
When you use @DypherBot, Telegram passes the bot basic data from your Telegram account: your user ID, your name and, if set, your username and language. The game stores this together with your game progress so it can run and remember where you stopped.
Your data is not sold, not shared with advertisers and not used for profiling. The game has no payments.
Why this data is used
- To provide the game you chose to play (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the website and the bot secure and working (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interests).
Where it is stored
Game data is stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Hosting providers (currently DigitalOcean for the game and Cloudflare for the website) process it only to provide their service.
How long it is kept
Game data is kept while the game is online. It is deleted when you ask for it or when the game shuts down.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Write to [email protected] and include your Telegram username or user ID so your data can be found. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Telegram
Your use of Telegram itself is covered by the Telegram Privacy Policy.
